Email intake, integrations and API
Send by email, connect other apps, the REST API, webhooks and AI assistants.
Email a PDF to start
In Account settings, Email a PDF to start gives you a private email address. Forward or send PDFs to it (up to 5 per email, 20 MB each) and they appear in your account ready to send for signature. They are kept for 30 days. Make a new address if the old one is shared by mistake.
Save to your cloud
Connect Google Drive or Dropbox under Save to your cloud in Account settings. Save a signed document with one click, or tick Save every signed document to do it automatically. Private documents are never sent to them.
CRM Business
Team admins can connect HubSpot or Salesforce under Team so each sent, signed or declined document is logged on the matching contact in your CRM (a note in HubSpot, a task in Salesforce).
Chat notifications
Post to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Discord when a document is signed, declined or opened, using Automations.
API and webhooks Business
Team admins open API and webhooks from the account menu.
- Create key makes an API key (starts with
so_live_). It is shown once, so copy it then. Revoke turns it off. - The REST API lives at
https://signofficially.com/v1/. Send documents and templates, check status, remind, cancel, download signed PDFs and audit trails, and manage contract dates. - Webhooks: add an Endpoint URL, choose events (sent, viewed, signed, completed, declined and more, plus contract reminders) and press Test.
Use Sign Officially from an AI assistant
AI assistants that support MCP can connect to https://signofficially.com/mcp with your API key. They can then list and send documents, send from templates, remind signers, cancel, download signed PDFs, read the audit trail, and list or update contracts, all on your instructions.
Embedding
Developers can embed the sending flow in their own app. Ask us at support@signofficially.com for details.
