Signed copy, certificate and verification
The sealed PDF, the certificate page, Download options and the verify page.
What you get when everyone has signed
A single sealed PDF: your document with every signature and filled field, followed by a certificate of completion page. The certificate lists each person, what they did and when, the checks they passed, and the document's fingerprints. The PDF carries a digital signature with a trusted timestamp, so any change after signing shows up in PDF readers and on our verify page.
The person who sent it gets an email titled "Completed" with the signed PDF attached (except Private documents). Everyone else gets their copy too.
Download options
On the document page or the signer's done screen, Download signed PDF, or open Download options:
- Signed PDF with certificate (recommended).
- Signed PDF without the certificate page, for a clean copy to share.
- Two files: document and certificate.
- Each document (ZIP) when the request had several documents.
Check that a PDF is genuine
- Go to https://signofficially.com/verify.
- Drop in the signed PDF. Its fingerprint is worked out on your device; the file is not uploaded.
- The page tells you whether it matches a document signed through Sign Officially, who signed it and when, and whether it has been changed.
Senders can also share the document's Public verification page.
Page check QR codes Enterprise
Tick Add a QR code to every page when sending. Anyone holding a printed page can scan it to see that the page belongs to a signed document and matches the original. Teams can make it the default.
Document ID on every page
Tick Print the document ID at the top of every page (any plan) so printed copies can always be traced back. Team admins can make it the default.
